I just realized that the only reason I haven’t been to the gym and resulted to home exercises this year even after my resolution is that I’m just too shy to let everyone see me without my sexy body. I’ve always had this banging body that disappeared during Jesus Christ’s birthday and several new year parties. The few friends I have now welcome me with a laugh “hahaha orobo” if only I can type their stupid laugh before and after calling me orobo.
Exercise benefits your body and mind in a variety of ways, from increased sleep to reduced anxiety and reduced-fat gain to a lower mortality rate. You don’t need all that gym equipment to incorporate exercise into your life, you just need home exercises to lose weight.
For whatever reason you have for not going to the gym, there are numerous best home exercises one can do at home in 10 minutes without the excuse you give yourself every day that are easy home exercises. Oh and shocking thing is you won’t be spending as much money as you would at the gym
1. Walking/running games
Exercise can be as simple and accessible as taking a walk or jog. Get yourself a runny shoe and set out early before the sun comes out.
2. Take the stairs
Going up and down the stairs is great for the major muscle groups in the legs and glutes. Replace the escalator with the staircase
3. Jumping ropes
Getting your heart rate up by jumping rope is an excellent aerobic exercise. Get a rope, wake up early and get those fats burning in the comfort of your home.

8. Squats & Lunges
squats and lunges perfect developing lower-body strength. Squats are performed by standing straight with your feet shoulder-width apart. Face forward. As if you’re about to sit in a chair, begin lowering your body. Continue to lower yourself until your thighs are parallel with the ground or almost parallel. Lean your upper body slightly forward as you bend your knees. Slowly straighten back into a standing pose. Repeat for one minute or 10 reps.
Standing with your feet a few inches apart and staring straight ahead, you can perform a lunge. Steadily lower your hips toward the ground while bending both knees as you step forward with one leg. Don’t jut out your knee on the forward leg, but keep it in line with your ankle. Your arms can be down at your sides or you can raise them over your head as you step forward. Hold the lunge for a beat, then step back to standing. Repeat for a minute, alternating legs.
